KALVIN PHILLIPS' loan spell at West Ham went from bad to worse when he saw red against Nottingham Forest.

The England international joined Forest after defending Premier League champions Manchester City in a bid to boost his Euro 2024 hopes.

The midfielder made a terrible mistake on his Hammers debut against Bournemouth earlier this month, allowing Dominic Solanke to inadvertently score.

And he was responsible for Manchester United's third goal in the 3-0 defeat of West Ham at Old Trafford earlier this month.

But his spell at the London Stadium reached a new low against Forest on Saturday afternoon when he gave his marching orders for a second bookable offence.
