Is it possible that even the animals are not safe from it? Khloe KardashianFace Tune?
Kardashian, 39, is accused of face-tuning her Russian Blue cat, named Gray Kitty, after posting a series of photos on Instagram for Valentine's Day.
Fans turned feline analysts pointed out that Gray's face looked almost too perfect in one of the photos, seemingly enhanced and smoother, with the cat's teal eyes looking extra blue and her mouth turned up in a perfect smile. Her whiskers were also noticeably missing from the photo, as some fans noted – as if they had been blurred with an editing tool.
“This is a real disease right now,” one critic further wrote Reddit. “Her sense of reality has been face-tuned.” Another user wrote: “Even the pets are not safe.”
Others pointed out that Russian Blues are naturally beautiful cats, so it's possible that Gray Kitty simply doesn't need any editing. “Russian Blues are naturally beautiful and of course very expensive. They are cats that don't need a filter,” one cat lover noted.
“Chartreuse and Russian blues have such a coat. It's quite common for Russian Blues to have that eye color, and Chartreux is known for that smiling mouth shape,” another user wrote. “This guy is probably a mix. And the whiskers are there. They are dark and not lit enough to stand out, but if you look closely you can definitely make them out against the cat's face, especially on the left side.”
This is not the first time that the Revenge body Host is accused of using photo editing apps like FaceTune and Photoshop on her social media, although those tools were typically used on images of herself. Khloé has been open about her love for FaceTune, calling the app “life-changing” in a February 2016 interview with Chelsea Handler.
“It's not real, you present to the world what you want them to believe you are,” she said at the time. “It's amazing. I think our society today is so concerned with getting validation from the social world that no one really knows, so they post these things.
In 2020, the reality star faced criticism from fans over her ever-changing appearance, making similar accusations over the use of photo editing in her posts.
“Khloé doesn't care about the backlash she's getting from fans saying she doesn't look like herself in her recent photos,” a source exclusively shared. Us at the time. “She thinks she looks great. And actually [she] It doesn't matter what people think as long as she's happy.”
