Khloe Kardashian’s face looked very different in a new photo shared to Instagram on Thursday morning.

The 39-year-old reality TV dynamo had her hair pulled back by a wide black headband that showed off her face while she wore gold hoop earrings.

But the mother-of-two’s face appeared distorted, probably due to the use of a powerful filter.

While most comments were very flattering, some said they thought her face looked different. One commented: ‘This is not your face.’ Another said: ‘I think she’s not Khloe, does anyone know who she is?’

Khloe has relied on filters to smooth out her face for years, and is often criticized for going overboard, as she is already stunningly beautiful without any help.

In 2021, the Kocktails With Khloe veteran shared on her Insta Stories that she used a lot of filters that sister Kourtney Kardashian told her about.

Alongside the final snippet, she wrote: “Mary God bless your filter. Don’t tell Kourt I learned something from her.”

Khloe admitted to using the filter – which improved lighting and slightly changed her appearance – after she was accused of editing all her photos for social media.

She came under fire for this when an unedited photo of her in a leopard print bikini leaked online. She looked pale and had skin abnormalities, which never appear on her page.

Although Khloe still looked naturally toned, slim and beautiful, she may have been shocked by the stark contrast to her heavily edited pin-up photos.

As she wished her best friends — twins Malika and Khadijah Haqq — a happy 41st birthday on Instagram, she shared some thoughts on “growing up” as she approaches the milestone that sisters Kourtney, 44, and Kim, 43, have already crossed.

‘Growing up is really a strange thing. When you’re younger, all you want to do is party, be outside, be seen, be in the mix. You have a lot of friends, but none of them really know who you are,” Kardashian began.

‘Then you get a little older and with each year that passes, you long for more simplicity. More peace. You long for friends you can count on one hand. You long to do ‘nothing’ with someone. The things that make you feel safe,” she added.

While wishing Malika and Khadijah Haqq a happy 41st birthday, she brought up her state of mind. ‘Growing up is a really strange thing… when you’re younger all you want to do is party… Then you get a little older and with each year that passes, you long for more and more simplicity’

She also spoke to her friends Malika and Khadijah: ‘To the twins: You are my safe place. You are the ones I want to do everything and nothing with. You are the ones I have always been able to count on.

“Blessed to have had my safe place since we were young teenagers. Ever since I met you girls, we just clicked. We just understand each other. We became triplets and we never looked back.”

Kardashian then wrote, “Thank you for trusting me with everything you do. Thank you for holding my hand as we go through life.

“It has been a privilege and an honor to have had a friendship for so long and I cherish the years we spent together. Ohhhhhh the memories we have ♡ ohhhhhh the secrets that will die with the US lol.

“I know the magic that exists within your souls and I can’t wait to see you shine brighter every year. This is just the beginning!!” she continued.

“Some people come into our lives and make it better, you two make life better. Sweeter, more memorable.

“Thank you for never judging me when I made mistakes, for laughing until we cried, for crying until we laughed, for the sleepless nights of fun and for always being there. You both will always be my person, my ride or die, through thick and thin, until the end…..and there is no end to it!!” Kardashian concluded the lengthy message.

Kardashian is mom to daughter True, 5, and son Tatum, 19 months, with ex Tristan Thompson.
