Lady Amelia Windsor once again proved her fashion prowess last night as she stepped out for an event in London.

The 28-year-old beauty, who is the granddaughter of the Duke of Kent, opted for a demure look in a purple dress as she joined a host of influencers and stars at Poppy Delevingne’s Della Vite’s The Perfect Christmas event at LAVO Restaurant.

Poppy, together with her sisters Cara Delevingne and Chloe, is co-owner of Della Vite, an Italian Prosecco brand.

Amelia paired her stylish ensemble with a pair of chunky black boots and a matching handbag.

She added a touch of glitter to her outfit with a gold chain and an array of bracelets and rings.

The model kept her locks straight and added a touch of glamorous makeup to her beautiful features.

After the event, she shielded herself from the cold evening weather by wearing a navy blue jacket as she held her phone in her hand.

Last month, Amelia revealed she shares the crusade of her royal relatives, King Charles and Prince William, as she discussed how people should act now to save the planet.

However, she said reducing her own carbon footprint is difficult while living in London. She admitted that she is “terrified” of cycling in the Big Smoke and has to walk everywhere instead.

The model, who cut the blue ribbon at the annual London to Monaco charity cycle this weekend, revealed the cyclists are ‘courageous’ to cover 1,000 kilometers across seven countries in just eight days in support of the Blue Marine Foundation.

Speak with HELLO! she said: ‘Although I grew up cycling in Cambridge, where it’s easier to get around, London scares me.’

The Blue Marine Foundation was founded in 2010 to protect vital marine habitats and combat overfishing, one of the world’s worst environmental problems.

Amelia, the charity’s ambassador, added: ‘It’s a fantastic charity doing vital work.

‘In addition to developing sustainable fishing models, it protects kelp forests and has succeeded in banning bottom trawling in the Dogger Bank of the North Sea.’

Elsewhere, the beauty spoke about her love of nature, saying she loves walking around London and being distracted by beautiful flowers and trees.

However, she admitted it is a ‘shame’ that people cannot swim on many British coasts due to ‘dumped sewage’.

Last year the model swapped her designer dresses for a pair of boots to pick up litter during a clean-up in the Thames.

She admitted that she could have made herself a “new suit” from all the sweaters and rubbish she found along the coastline.

The Tatler cover girl grabbed cleaning gloves, a rubbish disposal device and a bin bag in an attempt to clear the riverbank of rubbish.

Dubbed ‘the most beautiful member of the Royal Family’, Amelia used her status to raise awareness about non-biodegradable wet wipes clogging London’s drains.

She was accompanied by a team of waste pickers and Natassia Nicolao, the founder of Conserving Beauty, which invented the first fully dissolving facial wipes.

Sustainability is a priority for the royal model, who previously collaborated with high-end brand Pretty Ballerinas on a collection made entirely of recycled garments.

She is also an ambassador for the organization ‘No More Plastic’ and the Thames project is close to Amelia’s heart as she lives in the capital in a flat she shares with her 30-year-old sister Marina.

She previously revealed her love for second-hand clothes, saying it was all she “wore in college.”

She said she wants to use her platform to promote sustainability as she spoke about her passion for sustainable fashion and her excitement about the portobello market.

The beauty, signed to Storm Model Management, appeared on the cover of Hello Fashion posing up a storm in a chic black blazer.

Speak with Hello fashion she said: ‘That’s literally all I wore, it’s the excitement of it – and it became a bit of an obsession.

‘I just like that you never know what you’re going to find. Portobello market I love, it has such a great atmosphere and all the vendors have known each other for years. And now you also have that online, at Depop and Vestiaire.’

The beauty admitted that she also likes to support independent designers who make clothes with “good quality fabrics.”

She admitted that she took up a number of online courses during Covid lockdowns to learn more about sustainability, and started volunteering for a gardening collective after realizing the mental health benefits.
