Lauren Goodger has suggested she will homeschool her two-year-old daughter when the time comes when she shared a controversial video to her Instagram on Friday.

The former TOWIE star, 37, took to social media when she posted a video about the oft-discussed topic of homeschooling.

The mother, who is a single parent to daughter Larose, hinted that she agreed with the tenets of the video stating that “the fear [of homeschooling] is much bigger than reality'.

Taken from the story of digital creator Charlotte Millar, the narrator explained: “People are afraid of homeschooling because they don't think they can do it. It's not true. The fear is much greater than reality.

'There are so many sites and groups these days that can help you. You put as much or as little time as you want into homeschooling your child.

'You can let people learn, you don't have to be the teacher. I couldn't teach algebra just by example. But I have no doubt that I would.”

The video continued by describing the benefits of homeschooling: “When I meet homeschooled children, I almost always see that it is a homeschooled child. They're happier, they're more polite, which doesn't mean anything to a lot of people today, but it's a big deal.

“They're deeper, they're more mature. They have more wisdom. I'm advocating for it as best I can.'

While Lauren's support for the post suggested she might consider homeschooling her daughter, the logistics could pose a challenge after the reality star confirmed in December that she would be returning to the cast of TOWIE after an 11-year absence.

The influencer told OK! that she plans to return to the reality show in February and has already started thinking about possible storylines.

Lauren was part of the original 2010 line-up for the programme, which at the time partly focused on her long-term relationship with Mark Wright, before leaving in 2012 following their break-up in series six.

She returned briefly in 2015 for The Only Way Is Essexmas and, looking to the future, said she wants to “meet Amy Childs and have lunch with the kids!”

Since her departure from TOWIE, Lauren welcomed both Larose and second daughter Lorena, who sadly passed away shortly after birth.

The star gave birth to her second child in July 2022, but her umbilical cord was wrapped around her neck and she tragically died.

Lauren shares both children with her. Charles was charged with causing actual bodily harm to Lauren on August 4, 2022, Snaresbrook Crown Court heard.

He is also accused of “controlling or coercive behavior” against Lauren between August 1, 2020 and August 5, 2022.

Charles pleaded not guilty to the charges during a brief preliminary hearing at the court in the east London borough of Redbridge.

Judge Oscar Del Fabbro adjourned the case ahead of a further hearing at the same court on February 12, 2024, followed by a five-day trial, which began on March 18, 2024.

Lauren isn't the only celebrity considering homeschooling after Joe Wicks revealed last July that he had taken his four-year-old daughter Indie out of reception to homeschool her.

The fitness guru, 38, explained that he made the choice so he and his wife can spend more time as a family — and have the “freedom to travel more and explore the world.”

He and his model wife Rosie, who would like to have six children, plan to homeschool for at least a year at their £4million mansion in Surrey.

“There really is no other reason for the decision than that we just enjoy being together as a family and want to spend more time with the kids while we still can,” he wrote in a post on Instagram.
