Lewis Hamilton everyone on his Instagram account has abandoned, including his new team Ferrari and even his dog, Rocco.
It is the newest detox of social media that the Formula 1 star has undertaken, in which the 40-year-old racing driver born in Stevenage in 2021 previously followed everyone in his account.
It came after the controversial 2021 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix final, after Hamilton was defeated by the Formula 1 world championship Max Verstappen In the final round of the race.
It is not understood why Hamilton has chosen to remove all his followers this week, with eagle-eyes Petrolheads noticing the subtle change in his social media activity.
The former Mercedes driver has no fewer than 39.5 million followers on the social media platform, making him by far the most popular driver on the Formula 1 circuit, with Verstappen with 14.2m followers, while while Lando Norris has 9.9 m.
The sevenfold world champion had followed less than ten other accounts, after they had sent social media users at the beginning of this year by following his new Ferrari team on Instagram.

Lewis Hamilton has surprised fans by helping everyone, including his dog, Rocco, on Instagram

Hamilton, who also did not follow Ferrari, has published several snaps of himself and looks fragmented while working in the gym

The 40-year-old racing driver also appeared earlier this month at Gala, with a soft white suit with a white beret
An X account, @fiagirly, had revealed that Hamilton had followed six accounts on January 1, including his foundation, Mission 44, which strives to offer young people opportunities.
Hamilton had also abandoned his clothing brand +44 and his non-alcoholic beverage brand Almave.
Roscoe, his dog, also has 1.2 million followers on Instagram, but is now one less, with Hamilton also followed his Pooch.
The first season of the British with the Scuderia has not been clearly sailed so far.
Despite the followers Detox, he still continued to post on Instagram with the Formula 1 star who presents his torn physique on Tuesday,
Hamilton is currently seventh in the driver’s championship and has not secured a podium place this season – with his fifth placed finish in Bahrain as his best results so far. Nevertheless, he enjoyed some success in this year’s sprint traces, including winning a victory in China.
But the 40-year-old driver now comes under pressure after the eighth place in his last outing in Miami.
In April he seemed to claim that one element on his Ferrari car ‘insufficient performed’ compared to Charles Leclerc’s Charles Leclerc.

Several single fans of the Eagle-Eyed Formula 1 had noticed earlier this year that Hamilton Ferrari had followed before the start of the season

The former Mercedes driver has passed a difficult start of life with Ferrari and has not succeeded in securing a stage finish after the opening of six races
‘We found something on the car that pursued the last three races, so I hope that when that is resolved, I will get better results. I lose a little more than a tenth round with this problem that we have. I hope it was solved at the next race, “Hamilton told Sky Sports.
In Florida last weekend Hamilton had also been central in a controversial moment with his team. He had asked to be left past Leclerc to attack Kimi Antonelli in the Mercedes.
But the Pit Lane had not responded quickly enough to his request, where Hamilton gave a spijk -like reaction to the radio and said, “Take a tea break while you’re busy.”
He explained later: ‘I still have my fire in my stomach. I felt a bit that it really came up there.
“I’m not going to apologize that I’m a hunter. I’m not going to apologize because I still want it. I know that everyone in the team does that too.
“I didn’t think the decision came soon enough. And certainly, at that time you are from ‘Come on!’ But that’s really a bit.
‘I have no problems with the team or with Charles. I think we could do better. But the car is not where we really should be. In the end we fight for the seventh and eighth. ‘
Team director Fred Vasseur said after the race that he understood Hamilton’s frustrations and spoke with the driver after the race.
“I had a discussion with Lewis and I can perfectly understand frustration,” Vasseur told reporters.
“They are champions, they want to win races. We ask them to let their teammate go. It’s not easy.
‘It’s never easy, and I didn’t see any other team doing it, but that’s why we took the responsibility to do it because it is the policy for the team.
“We first race for Ferrari, and to be honest, I think we as a team did well.”
