The 30-year-old singer used TikTok to post the video ahead of the release of his new single Teardrops.
And former One Direction Liam showed just how much emotion he brought to the surface in an attempt to make a heartfelt disc.
Speaking about the pain he put himself through, he said: “There were definitely a lot of tears made making these records and for the first time you really get a sense of what it was like for me every day making this record.
'This album is literally the whole of last year for me. How I felt on those days is on every record. It was a snapshot of that day.”

He added: “So you can even help someone through a difficult time, help someone celebrate.
'That's really what I want to convey with this record and that's what I like most about my work.'
It comes after Liam teased his emotional new music in a studio clip posted to Instagram last Tuesday.
The pop star, who is now a solo artist, shared a snippet of the ballad which he said was “born of many tears.”
On the song he sings, “Tears are falling down your face again, 'cause I don't know how to love you and I'm broken too.”
Liam wrote in the caption: “A song born of many (tear emoji), some mine, some not.”
It comes after Liam's ex-girlfriend Danielle Peazer announced last month that she was expecting her first child with Dancing On Ice's Sonny Jay.
Danielle and Liam dated on and off from 2010 after meeting on The X Factor, but split in 2013 – three years before he started dating Cheryl, 40, who is the mother of his son, Bear, 6.

During an October 2012 interview, Liam admitted he was “devastated” after splitting from Danielle. Liam is now in a relationship with American model Kate Cassidy, with whom he has been dating since October 2022.
In a joint post, Sonny and Danielle shared a sweet video announcing their news.
