Newlywed couple Naomi Watts and Billy Crudup share a kiss in the street days after they tied the knot

Newlyweds Naomi Watts and Billy Crudup were in good spirits Monday on one of their first outings together as a married couple, just days after they tied the knot.

The 54-year-old actress stepped out with her actor beau, also 54, to walk their adorable dog Izzy, who Naomi adopted in 2021.

Naomi looked chic in faded jeans and an oversized gray jacket rolled up around her sleeves, while she pulled on a cream knit sweater underneath.

She wore a pair of beige sandals, a brown suede shoulder bag, and a camo tote bag slung over her shoulder.

The Mulholland Drive star had her short blonde hair styled in a loose wave and she completed her look with bold black sunglasses.

As for Billy, he kept casual in dark blue jeans and a navy T-shirt while sorting out a gray cap and aviator sunglasses.

When they stopped walking, the married couple shared a passionate kiss in the middle of a busy New York City street.

As Billy lovingly wrapped his arm around his new wife’s waist, the actor showed off his plain black wedding ring.

Their sighting comes after Naomi shared some gorgeous wedding photos of herself with a white bouquet, which she revealed were purchased from a local deli, on Instagram this weekend.

The couple’s celebrity friends were quick to congratulate them on the happy occasion.

‘Yeeeeeeeeee!!!! Sending so much love,” Gwyneth Paltrow responded to Naomi’s post, while Miranda Kerr added, “Congratulations!”

Naomi’s ex-boyfriend Liev Schreiber, 55, who she previously dated for 11 years, also sent his best wishes, commenting, “Congratulations!!! Delicious!!!’

The famously secretive couple previously sparked wedding rumors after they were spotted in wedding attire in photos obtained by Page Six on Friday.

Naomi first sparked rumors that she and Billy were engaged earlier this year when she debuted a huge diamond with a tasteful marquise cut, along with a diamond-encrusted band.

However, the star declined to confirm the engagement chatter, even after American Today host Hoda Kotb directly referenced it during an appearance on the morning talk show in late April.

Near the end of Naomi’s segment, Hoda joked that his “eye hurt” from the “big glint coming out of a ring here.”

“It just caught my eye, but it’s beautiful,” she added.

Just in case there’s any doubt about her implied question, Hoda’s co-host Savannah Guthrie added, “Hoda is asking if you’re engaged.”

But Naomi simply replied, “So, the brain fog…”

Savannah went on to compliment the ring’s design, but Naomi avoided saying more about her ring, while also not outright denying that she was engaged to Billy.

So far, the Morning Show star has also avoided discussing the possible engagement.

The King Kong star appears to have worn the ring at least as far back as March, and she was spotted wearing the sparkler on the red carpet at the 2023 Vanity Fair Oscar Party in Beverly Hills.

Naomi and Billy met on the set of her 2017 Netflix series Gypsy, in which she starred as a therapist who uses an alias to develop close (and unethical) relationships with people closely associated with her patients, while Crudup uses her husband played.

The costars began a relationship later in 2017, a year after Naomi split from her partner of 11 years, the actor Liev Schreiber.

The friendly exes share two children: Kai, 14, and Sasha, 15.

Billy is father to son William Atticus Parker, 19, who he shares with ex Mary Louise Parker.

He caused a huge scandal in 2003 after he dumped Parker while she was seven months pregnant with Atticus and then started a relationship with actress Claire Danes.

The couple split about two years later, amid rumors that Billy had been dumped by Claire for another co-star, British actor Hugh Dancy.

Claire and Hugh marry in 2009 and remain married.

Since they started dating, Naomi and Billy have kept their public appearances to a minimum and have largely avoided commenting on their relationship, though Naomi has occasionally shared sweet photos of herself with her boyfriend on social media.

During an earlier interview with PorterEdit in 2019, The Impossible actress talked about their blended families and co-parenting together. ‘We do it very differently.’

“I’m quite proud of us, trite as that may sound. We have made it our absolute priority to be good and kind to each other and we are absolutely committed to that.’

Liev announced earlier this year that he is expecting his first child with model girlfriend Taylor Neisen.

Billy was long infamous for terrible timing when he ended his multi-year relationship with Weeds star Mary-Louise Parker.

He divorced the actress, whom he began dating in 1996, in November 2003, when she was seven months pregnant with their son.

He then started a relationship with Claire Danes which ended in 2006.
