Lucknow University reschedules exams after the UP government declared holidays in academic institutions on January 22
The Uttar Pradesh government on Tuesday declared a public holiday for all academic institutions in the state on the day of the consecration ceremony at the Ram Temple.
Lucknow: The University of Lucknow has rescheduled the exams to January 22, the day of the consecration ceremony at the Ram Temple in Ayodhya. The exams scheduled for January 22 have been postponed and the new dates have been announced, a senior university official said on Wednesday. After Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath announced a holiday in all academic institutions in the state on January 22, the university has also postponed the exams on that day, he said.
The revised exam schedule for commerce, physics, chemistry, software development and biochemistry, among others, has been published on the university’s website, according to the official.

“Considering the importance of the dedication ceremony of the much-awaited new idol of Shri Ram Lalla at Ayodhya Dham, the Chief Minister has declared a public holiday in educational institutions on January 22,” an official release said.
