Ludacris says “Dashing Through the Snow” is a modern holiday movie

“A lot of [Dashing Through the Snow] is about healing,” says Ludacris Usadding that the film emphasizes the importance of “getting therapy and trying to understand and identify your post-traumatic stress and things you had as a child.”

The film addresses the struggles of “trying to be the best self you can be in order to be the best for others,” but still has the hallmarks of a classic holiday story.

“But in terms of the Christmas cheer and the fact that it becomes a staple of a Christmas movie, I think it has all the elements, man,” he says. “The comedic element, the heartfelt elements, it definitely has the Christmas elements. You see Santa Claus in a different light, a completely different light – a darker light at that.”
