The man who threw a phone at singer Bebe Rexha was arrested on Sunday during the concert in New York City.

The 33-year-old singer/songwriter was playing a concert at The Rooftop on Pier 17 on Sunday during her Best F’n Night Of My Life tour when she was punched in the face by a phone.

As seen in a Twitter video, the Back to You artist was seen singing and making her way to the front of the stage in a purple ensemble, her blonde locks hanging down.

As the Brooklyn resident faced the audience, a phone was seen charging in from the crowd and punching her right in the face.

After a moment of shock, the Grammy-nominated singer fell to her knees with her head down as several crew members rushed to her aid in the wings.

In a new video, the man is found by security who pulls him out of the crowd and over the barrier.

Meanwhile, fans chanted “a**hole” and “that’s assault” as he was taken away.

The video was shared by some attendees of the concert in the Big Apple on Sunday when someone posted under the handle @RossBernaud a video of the entertainer, whose full name is Bleta Rexha, being helped off stage after the hurtful incident.

As she was attended to by medics and led behind the auditorium curtain, she waved to the audience.

“This is Bebe Rexha being rushed out of the concert hall here in NYC after someone threw a horrible phone and smacked her face as she left the stage,” the Twitter user captioned the clip. “We all had a great time and so did Bebe, we all had a great time, I mean who would even do that??? We hope you are well @BebeRexha.’

A tweet from the Pop Base account read: “Bebe Rexha’s mother reveals she had to undergo three stitches after someone in the audience threw a phone at her head during her concert.”

A number of Rexha’s fans took to Twitter to speak out about the senseless attack on the pop star.

“Bebe is literally one of the sweetest and most unproblematic people in the music industry, she doesn’t deserve this… some of you really need to leave her alone,” one fan wrote.

Another fan of the Baby, I’m Jealous artist wrote, “Absolutely awesome show ruined by a fan throwing his phone at @BebeRexha, hopefully she’s fine after that.”

One fan complained about the lack of decorum on the part of the fan who threw the phone on stage, while another wondered why and how something like this could happen.

“Fans” suck so much because what do you mean Bebe Rexha had to go to the goddamn hospital and got stitches in her head because someone threw a phone at her and it hit her???? What the f***???’ said the fan.

Another fan called Rexha “literally one of the sweetest and most unproblematic people in the music industry,” adding, “she doesn’t deserve this.”

Another fan said, “Bebe Rexha really deserves better… between this and the audience showing no visible signs of concern.

“Like idc if they paid $6 to come see her, at the end of the day they need to show some respect…”

It wasn’t immediately clear if, or for how long, the scary incident and resulting injury would sideline Rexha from her tour.

She has four upcoming concert dates scheduled for the next week.

They include a June 20 date at The Fillmore in Philadelphia; June 21 at the Fillmore Silver Spring in Silver Spring, Maryland; June 23 at the Tabernacle in Atlanta; and on June 24 at the Hard Rock Live Orlando in Orlando, Florida.

The singer made headlines recently after revealing she’d gained 30 pounds after being diagnosed with polycystic ovary syndrome.

“I went to the doctor last year — and a lot of women have this and they don’t know about it — but they diagnosed PCOS, which is polycystic ovarian syndrome,” the singer said during a May 25 appearance on The Jennifer Hudson Show .

She elaborated on the health problem: ‘It is one of the leading causes of weight gain and obesity in women.

“I literally jumped like 30 pounds that fast, maybe a little bit more. But we just have to be positive and show people love.’

On the talk show appearance, Rexha talked about how she handles public criticism of her weight gain in the form of social media comments.

“Listen, we’re in the public eye, so that’s going to happen,” she said. “I was a lot thinner and I gained some weight — that’s part of the territory. I’m not mad about it, because it’s true, but when you see things like that, it messes with you.’

She continued, “You don’t know what somebody’s going through, what they’re going through in their life, so it’s kind of hard.”

Rexha said that in the current times, she feels, “We shouldn’t be talking about people’s weight.”

The I’m Good (Blue) artist spoke about living with PCOS last month while appearing on Gayle King in the House on SiriusXM.

“It’s hard — I think for me I’ve definitely struggled with my weight and I’ve struggled with food forever,” Rexha said.

She cited her past experience and pointed to the obsession with weight that music industry leaders had shown to her with their suggestions.

“I remember starting out and getting my first record deal, and they kind of put it in my head ever since, and they said to me when I first got signed, ‘Are you ready to get into boot camp shape “Because you need to lose 20 pounds to do this career; like you need to lose weight,” she recalled.
