MANCHESTER UNITED supporters face more travel chaosand being stranded in London over Easter.

The Red Devils' trip to Brentford on Saturday March 30 has been selected for TV coverage.

This also means that the Premier League showdown has been moved to kick-off at the Gtech Community Stadium at 8 p.m.

However, the last train service leaving London St Pancras International to Manchester Piccadilly will depart just two minutes after the action starts.

This is an East Midlands train service to Manchester via Sheffield departing from King's Cross at 8:02 pm.

Meanwhile, two services will depart from St Pancras at 9.32pm and 10.32pm on March 30.

But they are overnight journeys and are not scheduled to arrive at Manchester Piccadilly until 9.04am on Easter Sunday.

Avanti West Coast's latest regular week service from London to Manchester on Saturday ends with a 9:01pm departure from Euston.

It would then arrive in Manchester at 11:42 PM.

No tickets have yet been released by the railway company, although they are expected to go on sale in the coming week.

But either way, United fans are eyeing the prospect that they may be forced to spend Easter Sunday in the capital – or come home very early after an overnight stay.

During the Easter bank holiday weekend there is a greatly reduced timetable, with trains running less frequently.

This also means passengers expect longer journeys due to train changes and works planned by National Rail.

The late kick-off on Saturday will now be an unpleasant event for United fans.

The substitution at Brentford is the fourth time that Erik ten Hag's team has moved a match to Saturday at 8 p.m.

Not only is that the most of any Premier League team, but everyone has also been away from home a lot.

United have previously been selected for the late slot for their trips to Newcastle, Sheffield United and Burnley.
