Margot Robbie the billion-dollar Barbie goes for HOT PINK as she, Eva Longoria and Emma Stone lead bombshell parade at Palm Springs International Film Festival Film Awards

Margot Robbie, Eva Longoria and Emma Stone led the cavalcade of bombshells parading across the red carpet at the Palm Springs International Film Festival Film Awards on Thursday.

Stars galore flooded into the Palm Springs Convention Center for the glittering affair, where Margot’s juggernaut summer comedy Barbie was among the slew of buzzy movies to be heaped with acclaim.

In a tip of the hat to her billion-dollar movie’s bubblegum aesthetic, Margot showed off her statuesque legs in a sizzling hot pink dress that featured polka dots to add to the doll-like effect.

Her dress featured a plunging neckline to show off her cleavage to full advantage, and was adorned with floral accents that enhanced the candy floss theme of the look.

The 33-year-old let her signature blonde hair cascade over her shoulders in waves, sharpening her unmistakable screen siren features with makeup for her latest awards show.

Margot was on the red carpet in honor of Greta Gerwig, who helmed the new Barbie movie and wrote it with her longtime love Noah Baumbach and was being presented with Director Of The Year at Thursday’s event.

Meanwhile Emma brought back memories of Old Hollywood as she swanned across the red carpet, with her trademark red hair teased into a silkily wavy do.

Channeling Marlene Dietrich in Morocco, she rocked a silk white shirt with a long black tie, matching the raven-toned trousers cinched around her trim waistline.

Lending the ensemble an extra dash of louche glamour, she forewent a coat and opted instead for an elaborately sequined monochrome robe that fell to the ankle.

Balancing expertly on a towering pair of black stilettos, Emma, who was being presented with the desert palm achievement award for an actress, treated the photographers to her megawatt smile.

She attended the premiere on the arm of Yorgos Lanthimos, who directed her in her latest movie Poor Things after previously helming her in the critically lauded The Favourite. 

Eva on the other hand showed off her cloven-in-marble physique in a tantalizingly sheer lace gown that allowed her to flaunt her shapely legs as she trod the red carpet.

The Desperate Housewives alum was agelessly glamorous as she pulled a pout for the camera, her hair swept back into a long low ponytail revealing her subtle earrings.

This past year saw the release of Eva’s  directorial debut Flamin’ Hot, based on the memoirs of Frito-Lay executive Richard Montanez, who has long touted himself as the inventor of Flamin’ Hot Cheetos.

Frito-Lay has repudiated his claim that he created the snack, and a Los Angeles Times exposé in 2021 found that a lower-level employee called Lynne Greenfield played a more pivotal role in the birth of Flamin’ Hot Cheetos. 

By the time the bombshell report ran, Eva’s movie was already in the pipeline, and the actress-turned-filmmaker has staunchly defended her project ever since.

Jesse Garcia, who plays Richard Montanez in the film, cut a dashing figure at Thursday’s awards show in Palm Springs, wearing his tie rakishly askew over an open top button.

In a charming group shot to remember, Jesse struck a pose on the red carpet whilst sandwiched between his director and his Flamin’ Hot leading lady Annie Gonzalez. 

Music superstar Billie Eilish and her brother and co-writer Finneas O’Connell were also on hand for the awards show, where they were to get the chairman’s award for their Barbie song What Was I Made For?.

The acting honorees were also out in force that night, including Colman Domingo who was being garlanded for his role in Rustin and Paul Giamatti who was getting the icon award for The Holdovers.

Leonardo DiCaprio radiated his irrepressible movie star magnetism as he posed up a storm with his Killers Of The Flower Moon co-star Lily Gladstone during their latest red carpet.

Carey Mulligan – who was being presented with the international star award for an actress courtesy of her role as Leonard Bernstein’s wife Felicia in Bradley Cooper’s Maestro – went retro chic in a corset top with strings of pearls.

Beverly Johnson, 71, flashed one of her knockout legs in a split gown, while Sandra Oh slid her lithe frame into a cherry red frock and Taraji P. Henson was every inch the busty bombshell in a plunging green wrap dress.

Cillian Murphy, this year’s recipient of the desert palm achievement award, actor for his lead role in Oppenheimer, opted for classical style in a snappy black tuxedo.

His Oppenheimer co-star Robert Downey, Jr. could be seen sharing a goofy red carpet moment with Cillian after posing on the red carpet with his, Robert’s, mother-in-law Rosie Levin. 

Lenny Kravitz bared his toned chest, going shirtless under his sparkly-lapeled jacket as he shared an eye-catching hug with Willem Defoe while the shutterbugs snapped away at them.

America Ferrera draped her hourglass frame in a slinky black gown, while Carrie Fisher’s sister Joely modeled a lace-trimmed cocktail dress and Jennifer Esposito served up a generous helping of cleavage in a nude frock.

Orange Is The New Black alum Danielle Brooks, who was getting Thursday’s spotlight award for an actress for The Color Purple, rocked a white trouser suit over a plunging top. 

A variety of couples turned the red carpet into an opportunity for a date night, from Kirsten Dunst and Breaking Bad breakout Jesse Plemons to Willem Dafoe and his wife Giada Colagrande.

Jeffrey Wright, that night’s recipient of the career achievement award for his new film American Fiction, attended the red carpet alongside his co-star Leslie Uggams.
