Mark Wahlberg showed off his ripped 5ft8in physique while taking a dip in the ocean during his lavish vacation at the Barbados five-star hotel resort, Sandy Lane, on Saturday.

The two-time Oscar nominee easily defied his 52 years while wearing only a clingy pair of grey swim shorts and sunglasses in the surf.

Mark frequently starts his days in the gym at 4am in order to keep his biceps bulging, his chest chiseled, and his six-pack abs etched.

‘Before it was about aesthetic when trying to get in shape. Now, I want to live a long time,’ Wahlberg admitted to People in September.

‘If I don’t work out in the morning, I have a really hard time doing it towards the end of the day…I probably feel like [skipping the gym] almost every day. If I cut corners, then I can’t be at my best. Everything that I’ve done, that I’ve been successful at, is done by doing the work.’

Joining the F45 Training CBO in the water was his beloved wife of 14 years, Rhea Durham Wahlberg.

The 45-year-old former VS catwalker slipped her 5ft9in figure into a brown one-piece swimsuit.

Mark and Rhea originally met at a press junket in New York City back in 2001 and their first date was attending mass together at St. Patrick’s Cathedral.

‘I owe a lot to my wife,’ Wahlberg told The Sun in 2018.

‘She has helped me become the man that I am and created a beautiful life for me and our children. I also knew that she loved me for who I am and that she was someone I could trust. Until I met her, I wasn’t ready to get married.’

Also in the ocean with the married couple was their youngest child, daughter Grace Margaret, who gave her famous father a shoulder massage.

After the Christmas and New Year’s holidays, Mark and Rhea will celebrate the avid equestrian’s 14th birthday on January 11.

The Wahlbergs are also parents to three older children – daughter Ella Rae, 20; son Brendon Joseph, 15; and son Michael, 17.

After his swim, the Dorchester native wore a baseball cap from sports utility gear company Municipal, which he co-founded in 2019 with boxer Gabe Rosado and trainer Mario Guevara.

Mark – who boasts 55.3M social media followers – kicked off Christmas Eve by visiting local Catholic church St. Francis of Assisi At Mount Standfast, telling fans: ‘Happy Sunday everybody! No matter where you are stay prayed up. God bless, pray for peace!’
