Matildas star Katrina Gorry Blass attacks on children who have two mothers while she defends Sam Kerr about sickness comments

Katrina Gorry has defended Sam Kerr After an Australian politician accused the Matildas star of ‘deliberately robbed’ her baby son of a father.

Gorry, who shares daughter Harper and son Koby with her fiancé Clara Markstedt, hit back to the national director of Family First Party Lyle Shelton made the mean comments last month.

Shelton spoke out just after Kerr and her fiancé Kristie Mewis announced the arrival of their son Jagger and wrote: ‘A baby is born – but where is Dad?

‘Family first congratulates Sam Kerr and Kristie Mewis on the birth of their son – but we have to speak a truth that are too much afraid of saying.

‘No child may be deliberately robbed of their father. Children are not lifestyle accessories – they are people with rights. ‘

Shelton continued: “When cultural elites encourage choices those fathers, who are still in front of the child?”

Gorry made the explanation and others like it because she said that the gender of a child’s parents has nothing to do with the quality of their care.

“When I look at my children, they are full of love, they are full of hapiness,” she said News Corp.

‘Yes, they don’t have a father, but they have two mothers.

‘Harper thinks it is quite cool that she has two mothers and I see the life they live.

‘I raised children with a mother and a father and [they’re] not treated in the same way.

‘And I think if you are two healthy parents and you can give them love and happiness, what still has to give?

‘It should not matter if you are a man or woman. It just has to decide whether you can love the child and give them everything they need. ‘

Gorry added that she and her partner spent a lot of money to have their children through IVF, “and I think that says more than whatever” about how much they take care of their children.

“I couldn’t even get out of bed, I just couldn’t see how I would ever feel better,” she said.

‘I didn’t want to go to training or social events, or even play football, something I ever loved.

“I lost all the joy in life.”

In 2017, Gorry lived and played in Japan when her life started to get out of hand after the demolition of a long -term relationship.

The 25-year-old then had to regain control of her circumstances and soon developed an eating disorder.

Gorry sought help from a psychologist, but says that the turning point in her recovery became pregnant with her first child Harper in 2020.

‘My recovery trip has been long and gradual, with ups and downs.

‘I finally admitted to my psychologist that I needed help.

‘I just had to be open to someone who would listen, they didn’t have to repair me, they just had to be there and listen.

“One of the biggest shifts came when I got pregnant, when I realized how much I loved and appreciated and appreciated how much respect I had for it.”
