With a new month comes another shake-up to McDonald's UK menu – and this time a fan favorite is being axed.

The fast-food chain recently delighted customers by announcing that it is launching two brand new pink-themed desserts just in time for Valentine's Day, as well as bringing back some popular menu items.

The limited edition KitKat Ruby Chocolate McFlurry and Raspberry and White Chocolate Pie will be available in all restaurants nationwide from February.

Unfortunately, in order to bring these new, delicious items to market, some older options have been put on the chopping block.

The most notable of these is the Steakhouse Stack, which fans are calling the “best burger ever.”

With a new month, McDonald's UK menu is being shaken up again – and this time a fan favorite is being axed

Originally launched in March 2023, it went in and out of restaurants and proved an instant hit with fast food fans.

To kick off the new year, the fast food giant has relaunched the beloved burger nationwide from January 4.

But fans don't have long to make the most of it, as it will disappear from the menu again in the coming days – the last day to get your hands on one is February 6.

Other items leaving the menu include the Fajita Chicken Wrap, Cheesy Garlic Bites, Cadbury Dairy Milk McFlurry and Cadbury Caramel McFlurry.

The popular burger consists of two 100 percent British and Irish beef patties, a slice of cheddar cheese, crispy onions and red onions. You pay £5.39 for the burger alone or £6.99 for a meal.

McDonald's fans have taken to X, formerly Twitter, to praise the 'amazing' burger before it is off limits again.

One satisfied user wrote: 'McDonald's steakhouse staple just changed my life.'

A second joked: 'The steakhouse stack burger at McDonald's is literally the best burger ever.'

Meanwhile, a third admitted: 'That McDonald's steakhouse staple has me in stitches, can't keep my hands off it,' adding: 'The best thing to come from McDonald's.'

But some fans are furious that the popular burger won't last, with one writing: 'Steakhouse stack is probably the best burgers you've ever released, the patties taste better, even without the pepper sauce it's by far the tastiest.

“But like all good things you take it away and leave the boring old menu the same.”

Another fan joked, “If McDonald's doesn't keep the Steakhouse Stack I'm going off a bridge,” prompting one to suggest they “buy a load and freeze it.”

Someone else admitted: 'So good! That steakhouse staple is surprisingly quality for McDonald's.

'I really get a kick out of it! A bit stuffy, but I keep taking bites…it's that good.'

One user applauded the restaurant, noting, “Whoever brought in Ronald McDonald to invent the steakhouse stack deserves the world.”

Another burger lover warned: '@McDonaldsUK Love the steakhouse stack guys!! That particular salad used is 5*, along with the chunky onions, feels very gourmet. Never change it! On the top of the list'.

The Big Taste is another popular option and will return next month, which will please some fans who think it's better than the Steakhouse Stack

Meanwhile, someone else explained: 'The steakhouse stack burger tastes different (and better) than the usual burgers'.

However, when the burger leaves the menu, another popular item will take its place: the Big Taste.

One X user wrote: 'The Steakhouse Stack is good, but again it has nothing to do with The Big Taste.

A second wrote angrily: 'Life is never the same when mackies aren't so tasty. It's like mercury is retrograde or sm.

“Had a steakhouse stack the other day, VILE!!! I'm in the mood for pure s***, just want the big nice one back.

The menu shake-up comes just after the chain revealed they will be bringing back the Breakfast Wrap due to high demand after axing the product in 2020.

The savory treat consists of a pork sausage patty with free-range eggs, bacon, potato rosti and cheese, in a soft tortilla wrap and comes with your choice of brown sauce or ketchup.

Brekkie fans can enjoy the treat from February 7 for £4.39 on its own, or £5.89 as a meal with a drink and a potato wedge.
