McDonald’s is bringing back a Monopoly-style game TODAY with huge prizes
THE McDonald’s Winnings Sips game is finally back and customers can win festival tickets, cash prizes and more.
This year a new element has been added to the game, where customers can win even more when they use the McDonald’s App.
The popular game is back from today March 13 to April 16, promising “more prizes than ever before” this year.
Fans on Facebook are eagerly awaiting the event.
One user said: “Omg yes please.”
Another said: “Yes, yes, yes.”
“Well, that’s my diet out the window.” someone else stated.
To be in with a chance of winning, you must purchase a medium or large soft drink.
You then simply remove the sticker from the cup to pay and it will contain an Instant Win prize or an App Play game piece.
An Instant Win game piece gives customers the chance to win a free menu item, limited edition merchandise, festival tickets and big cash prizes of up to £10,000.
If you peel to reveal an App Play game item, it means you can scan the code in the McDonald’s app for another chance to win.
App Play is available on the McDonald’s App and customers can participate by downloading from Google Play or the Apple App Store.
This year there is a new element to the game where players can score a whopping 1,500 MMR points if they peel and play seven times in the McDonald’s app with Bonus Sip.
MMR points are MyMcDonald’s Reward points. You’ll earn 1 point for every cent you spend on our menu items when you order through the McDonald’s app at participating restaurants.
This means customers have enough for a free medium cold drink and another chance to win big.
This is only the second year that the Winning Sips promotion has been running after it started in March 2023.
The Winning Sips promotion is not to be confused with the McDonald’s Monopoly promotion, which has been around since 2005.
The McDonald’s Monopoly promotion recreates the classic board game and customers collect playing pieces when they purchase specific McDonald’s products, such as color-coordinated street names or train stations.
Which drinks are included in the Winning Sips promotion?
These are the McDonald’s drinks included in the Winning Sips promotion:
- Coca-Cola Zero Sugar
- Cola Light
- Sprite zero
- Coca-Cola classic
- Fanta Orange
- Oasis
- Chocolate milkshake
- Strawberry milkshake
- Banana milkshake
- Vanilla milkshake
All of these drinks contain Winning Sips peel stickers, but they must be a size medium or large.
Hot drinks are not included in the promotion.
Menu prices may vary depending on location, so it’s best to check with your local restaurant.
What prizes do I have a chance to win?
For the instant win prize you can win cash prizes of up to £100, as well as free items from the McDonald’s menu.
With an App Play game piece, customers can scan the code for another chance to win.

How to redeem prizes?
To claim an instant win, customers must enter the security barcode on the sticker by following the web address printed on the game piece.
They will also have to provide some personal details and a bank account into which the cash prize can be paid out.
Winners of a McDonald’s food prize or merchandise will receive a notification of the prize awarded in the Winning Sips Wallet in the McDonald’s app.
The prize will be added to the “Offers” or “Rewards & Offers” section. You must show the voucher when ordering online or in a restaurant.
You have until April 30, 2024 to claim a food prize, McDonald’s merchandise prize or cash prize.
