McDonald's customers can get menu favorites for HALF price – here's how

MCDONALD'S fans can get two menu favorites for half price, but they can't wait to get the deal.

For one day only, the popular fast food restaurant is dropping the price of its single McMuffin and a box of six chicken McNuggets tomorrow, February 5.

At breakfast the single McMuffin costs just £1.19 and from 11am the McNuggets cost £1.39.

Fans of the McMuffin can choose between bacon or sausage, paired with a free-range egg and a slice of cheese, all wrapped in an English muffin.

However, both deals are only available through the McDonald's app.

MYMCDONALD'S REWARDS

Customers can also earn points when they purchase one of these deals by signing up for MyMcDonald's Rewards.

The scheme means that every penny spent equals one Rewards point, so this week's offers will earn you 119 points if you grab a Single McMuffin and 139 points if you grab a box of six Chicken McNuggets.

When customers reach 1,500 points, they can choose from menu items such as small fries, a Hash Brown, a regular cold soda or a salad.

At 2,500 points there is a Double Cheeseburger, Vegetable Deluxe or apple pie on the menu.

With 4,000 points, customers can choose between menu favorites such as six Chicken McNuggets, a Big Mac or Filet-O-Fish.

Finally, with the 5,500 point milestone, customers can choose from a Mighty McMuffin, a McSpicy, a Double Quarter Pounder with Cheese or a McCrispy.

There is also an option for customers to donate the cash equivalent of their points to BBC Children in Need, FareShare and Ronald McDonald House Charities to support the company's commitment to funding and supporting youth work, in addition to reducing food poverty and waste in Britain.

McDonald's breakfast is available from 5am to 11am and the McDonald's lunch menu is available from 11am daily.

It comes as the fast food chain plans to cut five items from its menu within days, as well as launching a host of new items.
