Mike Caussin is ‘grateful’ for Jana Kramer’s fiancé Allan Russell
Mike Caussin feels grateful for his friendly co-parenting relationship with his ex-wife Jan Kramer and her fiancé, Allan Russell.
“I have a tremendous amount to be grateful for, most of which is my family,” Caussin, 36, wrote via Instagram on Thursday, November 22. “Starting with my parents and brothers and sisters. Simply put… they embody unconditional love. Next is my ‘modern family.’ I am incredibly grateful for where @kramergirl and I are in our relationship.”
Caussin and Kramer, 39, were married between 2015 and 2021. Amid several ups and downs, they welcomed daughter Jolie, 7, and son Jace, 4, and broke up for good when Caussin was unfaithful again. They have each moved on with new partners. Kramer, in turn, got engaged to former footballer Russell, 42, in May.
“We both found a way to thrive for ourselves and, more importantly, for the kids,” Caussin added Thursday. “The fact that she found someone like [Allan] only adds to my gratitude for the whole situation.”

Caussin concluded: “Jolie and Jace have the gift of three parents [who] love them and will do anything to protect them. As a father, what more could I wish for.”
The former football player also uploaded a photo of the three parents with Jolie and Jace in a pumpkin patch.
Kramer reposted Caussin’s message to her Instagram Story and captioned it, “Grateful.”
Jolie and Jace spent the Thanksgiving holiday with Caussin this year, while Kramer had a low-key celebration with Russell, 42, and their newborn son. She gave birth to their first child together, son Rowan, earlier this month. (Russell is also father to son Troy, 16, from a previous relationship.)

Since Kramer found love with Russell, Caussin has publicly shared his approval for the couple.
‘I was talking about how much I love Allan. I said the same joke [recently]. I said, ‘Jana, how do you get the feeling that you’re not the prettiest one in the relationship anymore?'” Caussin joked during the Oct. 27 episode of Kramer’s “Whine Down” podcast.
He added: “I mean this guy – we were at football training on a beautiful autumn day and he’s wearing a peacoat, straight from Britain, and his hair was blowing. I swear he turned to the right – while I was behind him – and the wind hit him just right. I thought, ‘Is he in slow motion now?’ That guy lives in slow motion.”
Kramer previously praised Caussin’s dynamic with Russell during an episode of “Whine Down” in September, noting that the men recently “had a beer together” at her house. She thought the exchange was “really cool.”
