Millennials stunned as Target brings back the Y2K trend — shoppers nearly cried

A MILLENNIAL shopper couldn't believe her eyes when she went shopping at Target.

A fashion trend she used to love seems to be making a comeback, and it was impossible for her to resist.

Erin Miller, a self-proclaimed “historian” of the '90s and 2000s, as she writes in her TikTok bio (@overthemoonfaraway) still remembers the looks she used to rock.

That's why she got emotional when she saw one of those old trends making a comeback.

In the clampshe filmed herself walking through Target when she saw something that made her stop.

What exactly was it? Denim, fold-over boots.

“What Happens at Target in 2001?” she asked.

Unable to stop herself, she walked down the aisle and began trying on the couple and giving them a walking test.

'Why am I trying them? Why am I testing them out?” she continued, feeling the unconscious pull to do so.

Suddenly she heard a song playing in her head: Britney Spears' 2000 hit Oops I Did It Again.

With that, she called to add them to her cart and take them home.

Proving that she was thrilled with her purchase, Erin leaned into the trend when she got home.

She donned an all-millennium denim look, with the boots as her main accessory, and sat on her inflatable pink couch in front of a poster of Spice World and Almost Famous.

The shoes, they cost $50 at Targetgarnered mixed reactions from Erin's viewers.

“I meaaannnn I love them low key,” one person wrote.

“I literally saw that today and almost cried,” another added, to which Erin replied, “It made me a little teary myself.”
