British summer workers have taken revenge on ‘selfish’ Zante holidaymakers who reserved their sunburns by ‘hiding’ their towels and throwing them up.
Waitress Millie Newsham, 20, was on his way back to her hotel room at 6 o’clock after a night out with friends last week when they noticed that towels were placed on sunbires to reserve them.
Images shows the group that drags towels from the sun loungers, which she cables and spreads around the swimming pool.
The British can be seen who throw the towels to handrails and a tree.
Millie, from Blackpool, has been in Zante since mid -June and works there before the summer, but says that her friends have become more and more frustrated by tourists trying to claim their place at the swimming pool.
The British waitress said that reserving tanning beds was ‘selfish’ and not the thing at the Greek party island.
‘We live in the hotel because we work here and a lot of tourists are staying here now.
“They came and put their towels at the swimming pool.

“Nobody does it. You just don’t do that because we are in Zante.
‘We all had a little drink and then we started to hide their towels around the hotel and such.
‘I don’t think you should reserve tanning beds, because there is clearly no one here until about three o’clock in the afternoon, so there is literally no sense.
“It’s pretty selfish because half of these people don’t even stand up. Then the people who stand up do not have a lounger. It’s so annoying.
“It’s so annoying. Of course this is our home at the moment.
“We scored them. They have not done it since. ‘
She said she heard people in her hotel speak about her video, which has since become viral on social media.
Millie said: ‘I have heard people talk about the tap.

‘A few girls I sat next to the pool, I have never spoken with them and they were:’ I saw this tap, it was in this hotel and people moved the towels. ‘
“I just laughed. I didn’t expect it to be viral. Every time I go, there is another thousand likes.
“Some people agreed. Some people think you shouldn’t touch the things of other people, but it’s a towel.
The clip had Tiktok users divided into the reactions, with some understanding of frustration and others who defended for reserving a lounger.
A user said: “They want to have their cake and eat it – if you are not prepared before waking up, do not expect that you will get a sunbed if you need a more budget holiday, it was first served for the first time.”
Another noticed: “Why don’t you just sit on a without a towel?”
“People don’t defend the strange balls that charge for tanning beds,” said a third.
Sun wars are raging through Europe in recent years – a trend that has been going on tourists to compete for prime sunbathing places in hotel baths and on beaches, often armed with towels and blankets to ‘reserve’ their place before you return hours later.
The Peak Season training has been visited in popular hotspots by British, such as Spain, Greece and Turkey, with staff at hotels who clamps on ‘Sunbed Hoggers’ by hiring bouncers and introducing parking ticket-style systems.
