This is when a father climbed a waterslide to save his terrified daughter after she got stuck in a popular adventure park.
Andrew Reece, 38, went to Gulliver’s World in Warrington with his wife Emma, 41, on Saturday July 10 for their six-year-old daughter Sienna’s birthday.
Disaster struck for the Merseyside family when Sienna decided to go down the waterslide, but the boat got stuck halfway through.
Seeing that his daughter was ‘scared’, Andrew rushed to the rescue and climbed the slide after it took ‘too long’ for staff to call for help.
A video filmed by Emma shows Andrew making his way down the waterslide to save his daughter.

In the background you can hear Emma laughing as he tries to climb up the vertical part of the slide.
People cheer as Andrew manages to reach the part of the slide that Sienna is stuck on and begins to try to free the boat.
It proved difficult, but the father eventually managed to free the boat.
However, it’s not the easiest slide down and Andrew has to use his feet to pull the boat. Emma is heard screaming once the pair reach the bottom.
Sienna was upset and crying on the boat and we could tell she was scared. Staff had radioed for help, but it took too long,” Emma told MailOnline.

“The sun was shining down on her and she was scared. Her father suggested climbing up the waterslide and I said he couldn’t because it would slide back down.’
Emma added, “But… Andrew was Andrew and he went up to save our daughter.
“He was our hero and Sienna was so glad her dad had come to save her.”
Emma said she thought it was “hilarious to see him try to climb the slide,” but was so thankful he was there to help Sienna.
