A mother of one who once weighed more than 18 stone has revealed how she lost half of her body weight without turning weight loss injections.

Kyra Dawson, 31, from Essex, throws an incredible nine stone after she admitted that her drink had ‘got out of hand’.

The former self -described ‘Party Girl’ says that she had spent most of her twenties ‘almost every evening’ and throwing bottles of wine and vodka back.

“In my worst I ordered five pick -up restaurants a day while I hang out,” she said. ‘I would eat all day and then start drinking in the evening – and repeat the cycle. ‘

An outburst would hold a greasy full English breakfast, followed by fried chicken for lunch and a collection pizza for dinner. Between meals she snacked on sausage rolls – all washed away with wine.

She started drinking regularly at the age of 15, but said it was only when she hit ‘Rock Bottom’, that she realized that something had to change.

“In the beginning I didn’t think I had a problem,” she said. ‘I just thought I enjoyed going out and partying. But while my friends drank Alcopops, I was on Vodka. ‘

Giving up alcohol, she says, was the turning point – both physically and mentally.

“As soon as I stopped drinking, the weight fell off,” she said. “I always stopped with the desire for greasy food and the obsession with too much food while the hangover disappeared.”
