A mother-of-three who lives in a council house, even though she earns £4,000 a month, is refusing to move and says she wants a bigger house.

Whitney Ainscough, 30, rose to fame on social media after posting videos on TikTok of grim-looking packed lunches at her home in Rotherham, South Yorkshire.

Despite the mother earning a decent income from her social media accounts, Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council says she is “not in breach of a tenancy agreement”.

The self-confessed ‘bad mother’, as she is known on TikTok, claims she earned £15,000 in January and another £17,000 in February.

She pays just £458 to rent her two-bedroom council house on the outskirts of Rotherham.

Her name is also on the waiting list for a larger four-bedroom council house as she says her home is too small for her, her three children aged 11, six and two, and her partner Joel Christopher, 32.

While Whitney may be getting the money now, she has also been through some tough times.

SUFFER DOMESTIC VIOLENCE

She fell into debt to the tune of £30,000, which was spent to ‘make herself feel better’ after domestic abuse in a previous relationship.

She lived on Universal Credit but can now afford luxury holidays and travel to Egypt for stomach surgery.

Whitney had taken out an Individual Voluntary Arrangement (IVA) to pay off her debts.

Although the IVA has now been paid off, she claims she cannot get a mortgage because it is still on her credit rating.

However, Whitney does not tolerate any criticism from people and tells them to “p**s off”.

Council house mum is branded ‘lazy’ and ‘selfish’ as she mocks huge Chinese before bragging about £6,000 Egyptian operation to ‘make her skinny’

She said MailOnline: “P*** off. Seriously, fuck off. I pay to live here.

“These people who are on benefits and get the house for free don’t pay to live there.

“I pay to live here, just like everyone else, but they get housing benefits and whatever. I pay the money from my wages.

“Why would I just move just because I’m making a lot more money now?

“Just because I make a lot of money doesn’t mean I’m breaking a contract. It doesn’t mean I have to leave my house. I pay for my house.”

There are currently five people living in a two-bedroom house and Whitney said they are “struggling for space”.

Although she admits she has built up a significant amount of debt, Whitney said it has now been paid back but it has left her in “financial s**t” as the IVA remains on your credit history for six years.

Whitney said she remained defiant to her critics and would continue doing what she does.

She recently spent some of her money on a new Range Rover, which is featured in some of her online videos.

What are the reasons why you can be evicted from your town hall?

Despite the outrage of some people, a municipal tenant cannot simply be evicted because he earns a lot of money.

However, there are a number of reasons why a municipality may terminate the lease.

Rent arrears

Failure to pay rent is the main reason for eviction from the municipal rent.

Consider the fact that you owe a lot of money or that you do not pay your rent or service charges on time.

Anti social behaviour

This may involve both antisocial and criminal behavior by the tenant, his family or a visitor.

Breaking your rental agreement

The municipality can take you to court if you violate a term in your rental agreement.

This includes late payment of rent and not allowing people into your home to carry out repairs and safety checks.

Not telling the truth on your application

You can be evicted if you said something that was not true when you applied to register with the housing register.

You do not live in your home

If you move permanently, the municipality can terminate your tenancy.

Whitney rose to fame on social media by posting horrible-looking packed lunches for her children while playing the role of a ‘bad mother’.

She said that once she made one video viral on TikTok, the ball started rolling and her popularity grew.

The mother added that although she made videos of the packed lunches showing her going to Wetherspoons while her children were at school, she said they were only for TikTok and ‘bants’. It’s just content.”

‘BIG THINGS’ IN THE FUTURE

Whitney also has “big things” planned for the future, adding that she was in talks at the time and claimed she would make a lot of money from it.

A spokesperson for Rotherham Council said: “We can confirm that a tenant will not be in breach of their lease if their income changes, as long as they continue to comply with the terms of their contract.”

Early last month, Whitney was criticized by critics after posting a video mocking a huge Chinese takeout meal just before heading to Egypt for her surgery.

In November 2023, Whitney claimed she would spend £10,000 on Christmas presents, saying her children deserved to be spoiled.
