Natalie Bassingthwaighte shone as the star performer at the very first Mardi Gras Debutante Ball on Thursday evening.

The Rogue Traders singer, 48, pulled out all the stops as he posed at the glitzy event, hosted at the Kinselas Hotel.

She showed off her incredible figure in a sheer red tulle dress with a dramatic train, worn over a cream silk corset with lace-up detailing.

Natalie, who made her Mardi Gras debut after recently confirming her same-sex relationship, gave herself a few extra inches in a pair of nude strappy platform heels.

She accessorized her bombshell look with huge statement earrings as she dressed to the nines as she acted as the guest of honor at the ball.

Natalie – who is dating director Pip Loth – playfully posed by swinging the train of her dress around her as she appeared jovial.

At the event, hosted by Johnnie Walker, she also wowed the crowd when she took the stage to perform a medley of her most beloved hits.

She donned a pair of black over-the-knee platform boots and rainbow wings as she changed up her look for the show.

The Mardi Gras Debutante Ball aimed to “undermine the conservative roots of the traditional Debutante Ball” and transform the Kinselas Hotel “into a grand space of splendor, an inclusive space for all queer identities.”

The festivities were hosted by Aysha Buffet and Jenna Suffern, and also included performances by DJ Sveta Nefertiti Lanegra and Marlena Dali.

Natalie confirmed her relationship with her non-binary partner Pip in November, when the couple shared a sweet selfie smiling over margaritas.

The post, which Natalie reshared from Pip’s account, was accompanied by a heartfelt tribute as the pair confirmed their budding romance.

“Appreciation post for the most incredible woman who not only gives me strength, support, love and immense joy, but teaches me to understand and accept that I deserve these things and have them within myself,” wrote production technician Pip.

‘She teaches me to breathe deeply, to trust and to be my true self. I am so lucky and extremely grateful for you.”

Natalie responded to the bubbly tribute with a series of sweet emojis, including a red love heart, praying hands and a rainbow emoji.

Just weeks before becoming Instagram official, Natalie had revealed in an interview with Stellar magazine on November 19 that she was dating a woman, but she did not reveal the identity of her partner at the time.

“I am in a beautiful relationship with a woman who makes my heart smile and makes me very happy,” she revealed to the magazine, confirming that her ex-husband knew about her new relationship.

In August last year, it emerged that Natalie and her ex-husband Cameron McGlinchey had ‘quietly ended their marriage’ after splitting at the end of 2022.

The exes married in 2011 and share daughter Harper, 13, and son Hendrix, 10.
