“Appreciation post for the most incredible woman who not only gives me strength, support, love and immense joy, but teaches me to understand and accept that I deserve these things and have them within myself,” wrote Pip, a stage manager and production technician who identifies as non-binary.

'She teaches me to breathe deeply, to trust and to be my true self. I am so lucky and extremely grateful for you.”

Bassingthwaighte responded with a series of illustrations, including a red love heart, praying hands and a rainbow emoji.
