‘This is just getting ridiculous’ shout Netflix users demanding ‘more plans’

NETFLIX users have taken to Reddit to express their frustration over this year’s price hikes.

The comments were posted on a popular Reddit forum called r/netflix.

Users responded to reports that the streaming service will increase its prices in 2024.

“I remember it was 7.99 a month for unlimited streaming and it was the best deal ever at the time because they had so many movies and I think Hulu and maybe Amazon Prime were their only competition lol,” one user wrote.

“Netflix needs new plans. Like single 4k. Or college,” said another.

“I paid every raise they threw at me but this is just getting ridiculous,” another complained.

Wall Street analysts have said they expect Netflix prices to rise again this year Variety.

“We expect rate hikes this year,” UBS analyst John Hodulik said of Netflix.

Some customers became angry when Netflix raised its prices a few months ago.

The price of the basic subscription has increased from $9.99 per month to $11.99 in the US.

“More affordable 4K, single screen, no ads is the only way I can resubscribe. Otherwise I’ll just keep sailing the high seas.

“I won’t pay for four screens if I can’t watch on four screens unless they’re in the same house. That’s ridiculous,” one Reddit user wrote.
