NYPD will REVOKE Donald Trump’s gun permit after conviction in hush money trial

The NYPD will impeach the former president Donald Trump‘s gun license following his 34-count conviction last week.

On Thursday, a jury convicted the ex-president and presumptive Republican presidential nominee of falsifying business records related to payments to porn star Stormy Daniels ahead of the 2016 elections.

ABC News reported on Wednesday evening that Trump would now lose his gun license.

It was suspended after Trump was indicted by the Manhattan district attorney last year.

It is unclear when the NYPD will take the step.

New York state and federal law prohibits convicted felons from possessing any form of firearm.

Trump will be sentenced on July 11 – and must surrender all weapons before then.

The ex-president is in step with the Republican Party as a strong supporter of Second Amendment rights.

He said that in 2012 interview with Emily Miller for The Washington Times that he had a concealed carry permit for a Heckler & Koch HK45 and a .38-caliber Smith & Wesson.

If his appeal is successful, he could get the weapons back.
