Olivia Newton-John’s Instagram account FLOODED with anti-LGBTQ comments after photo of the late actress was shared in honor of Pride Month

Olivia Newton-John’s Instagram account became the target of anti-LGBTQ trolls after a photo was posted of the late actress wearing a sweater with a rainbow on it.

“Happy Pride Month!” the post read, along with a series of multi-colored heart emojis.

In the photo, the Grease star – who died in 2022 after a two-decade battle with breast cancer – looks happy with a smile on her face, her blonde hair playfully tousled and a stack of colorful bracelets on her wrist.

The Physical singer – whose California ranch is for sale – posed against a turquoise blue grand piano with flowers on it.

Commenters almost immediately disagreed with the inclusive post, with one passionately saying: ‘It’s sickening the way it is [Pride Month is] shoved down our throats.’

The upbeat post ignited vitriol in the comments section, with someone else writing: ‘She’s not here on earth anymore. Please do not use her page to benefit the alphabet community.

‘And another unfollower unfortunately. However, I cannot support sin praying for you,” someone else wrote.

Someone else said: ‘This is awful. I’m blocking your message, I have no idea how you showed up on my feed. Shame on you Olivia Newton John, even though she’s dead.”

Several commenters tried to silence the homophobes and transphobes, thanking Olivia for her dedication to LGTBQIA+ efforts throughout her life.

Olivia has been a great ally for the LGBTQIA+ community, advocating for gay rights, celebrating and performing at Pride events in recent Pride months.

The post comes just as news broke that Olivia’s widower John Easterling has put the Santa Ynez, California, ranch where she lived her final years on the market for $9 million.

The four-bedroom, five-bathroom home was purchased by Olivia in 2015 for $4.69 million.

Built in 1975, the property occupies 12 acres near the Santa Ynez River and features a guest house, a swimming pool and a barn and stables for horses.

The report comes just as news broke that Olivia’s widower John Easterling has put the Santa Ynez, California, ranch where she lived her final years on the market for $9 million.
