MC HAMMER’s crazy oversized suit is back with a bang.

The American rapper showed off his outfit – with big shoulders and a narrow waist – in the 1980s, and forty years later the baggy look has returned to the catwalks and the A-list.

But with today’s celebrities pushing the envelope, big doesn’t necessarily mean better.

Stella McCartney trotted down the catwalk at her own fashion show in Paris this week in an oversized jacket, and pop star Liam Payne was also seen in the French capital in an enormous jacket and trousers.

And while we’re all for a power suit, this latest style seems more suited to a comedy skit.

In MC Hammer’s day, loud suits were fitted to his body at least in a sense.
