Another JEE aspirant committed suicide in Kota on Friday by consuming celphos poison at his paying guest house.

Suicide among students is increasing. Another JEE aspirant committed suicide in Kota on Friday by consuming celphos poison at his paying guesthouse. According to the IANS report, officials said a suicide note was found in his room. ‘Daddy, I can’t handle it. And I won’t be able to pass the JEE,” his suicide note reads.

The deceased was identified as Abhishek Singh (16). The aspirant was a resident of Bhagalpur, Bihar. He had been preparing for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) in Kota for the past year.

DSP Dharamveer Singh said that Abhishek has been living in a paying guest house in Vigyan Nagar area for the past one month. He said his family members have been informed and investigations have begun. The police officials added that Abhishek had also skipped two exams scheduled during his coaching on January 29 and February 19. So far this year, six students have committed suicide in Kota.
