Penelope Cruz stole the spotlight on Friday at the screening of her new film Ferrari in Los Angeles.

The 49-year-old Oscar nominee, who plays Italian carmaker Enzo Ferrari’s wife Laura Ferrari in the biopic, looked like she had stepped off the catwalk in her chic black top, matching leather jacket and flared jeans.

With a set of gold hoop earrings and black stiletto heels, the Volver alum added a modern twist to her style while keeping her signature brunette locks long and loose.

During the Q&A portion of the SAG-AFTRA Foundation event, all eyes were on Penelope as she sat in a director’s chair and answered questions from the audience.

The event took place a day after the Spanish star opened up about turning 50 in April 2024, and that’s telling AND“I really consider it the beginning of the second part of my life.”

She also joked that she might not be “happy” about the use of AI in film, but “it could be beneficial to keep her around ‘much longer’ as she spends time with her children and future grandchildren,” the outlet said.

Meanwhile, Ferrari gives the actress another chance to develop her drama skills.
