Horrifying moment Perth driver smashes a windscreen with his shoulder while motorist trembles with fear inside his car

Horrifying footage has emerged of the moment a driver’s windscreen was smashed by an irate motorist in a shocking act of road rage.

Dylan, 30, attempted to merge onto the Kwinana Freeway in Bull Creek, south Perth, last Wednesday when a driver in a Skoda refused to let him in.

The 30-year-old beeped at the other driver, who then followed him to a traffic light.

The other driver then unleashed a tirade of abuse at Dylan before smashing his windscreen with his shoulder.

“He punched through my weather watch, a little hole where my window was open, tried to get in there, but he couldn’t, and knocked out my driver’s mirror,” Dylan said. 7News.

“Then finally put the finishing touches on a shoulder through my windshield.”

Shocking footage showed the man shouting abuse at Dylan before ramming his shoulder through the windscreen.

“Get the fuck out of your car, c***!” he screamed.

The glass shattered over Dylan, who said his main concern was the two dogs in the back of his car.

“I’m a big guy and I can handle myself if I have to, but when you have dogs with you and someone is crazy enough to come and do that to you, you don’t know what else they’re crazy enough to do,” he said.

Dylan was left with a $1,000 bill to repair his windshield and said he reported the incident to police.

He and his dogs were unharmed during the terrifying encounter.
