PROUD 'fat' influencer Jaelynn Chaney has revealed trolls tell her to 'stay home' when she speaks about her travel woes.

The 25-year-old is a size 6XL and has built a significant following advocating for free plane seats and wider hotel corridors for plus-size holidaymakers.

But her activism on social media has been met with widespread criticism, with Jaelynn now sharing that she is often told to 'stay home' rather than travel.

In a recent Instagram video, the influencer delved into some of the issues she faces when going on vacation.

This includes deciding whether to book a second seat while flying and getting “dirty looks” as soon as she gets on the plane.

Jaelynn also checks to see if airlines have a 'customer size policy' before booking a flight with them.

In April last year, she claimed she was “bruised” after a domestic flight in the US because she had to squeeze her body into one seat.

Because of her size, she cannot pull down the airplane tray tables.

“We are plus size travelers, of course people online are telling us to stay home,” she wrote on Instagram.

“But we're here to remind ourselves and our fellow fat travelers that anyone can explore the world.”

Jaelynn, from Vancouver, Canada, is “on a mission to revolutionize the travel industry” so “fat people” can vacation in comfort.

She regularly flies to exotic locations around the world and documents the struggles she faces as a 6XL woman.

The influencer previously made headlines by urging hotels to make corridors 'more spacious' for taller guests.

She said it is paramount that hotels advertise wider corridors on their websites so that “people with different body shapes” are aware of this before booking.

Jaelynn claims plus-size holidaymakers are being discriminated against and deserve an extra seat or two for free to accommodate their larger frames.

The influencer took seventh place in 2019 after she was diagnosed with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), pulmonary hypertension and high blood pressure in the blood vessels connected to the lungs.
