Many Pokémon fans’ first introduction to Pokémon was through Generation 1 and its remakes.

This means that many players had to make the difficult decision to start their journey with Bulbasaur, Squirtle or Chamander.

The Pokémon Company has decided that we no longer have to make that choice, as super-powered versions of every Kanto starter appear in the game.

Starting with Venusaur, seven-star Tera Raids will appear in Paldea for Venusaur, Blastoise, and Charizard.

They are each available for a week and everyone can catch one themselves.

These are the dates you can find these three Pokémon in Scarlet and Violet.

  • Mighty Venusaur with the Ground Tera type, available from Wednesday, February 28, 2024 to Tuesday, March 5, 2024.
  • Mighty Blastoise with the Steel Tera type, available from Wednesday, March 6, 2024, to Tuesday, March 12, 2024.
  • Mighty Charizard with the Dragon Tera type, available from Wednesday March 13, 2024 to Sunday March 17, 2024.

The Mighty Venusaur Tera Raids are already live and players are already trying to catch these difficult Pokémon.

Using moves like Sunny Day and Growth, it has great synergy that can take out most ‘mons quickly.
