AFL fans have rushed to congratulate Port Adelaide skipper Connor Rozee and his fiancée Maisie Packer on the birth of their first child – a girl named Audrey.
The 24-year-old, who was recently sidelined due to injuries, shared the exciting news on Instagram and posted several photos of Audrey, who was born at Ashford Hospital on Friday.
“Audrey Sarah Rozee, we couldn’t love you more,” Maisie wrote on Instagram.
Teammates, friends and fans all congratulated the AFL star and his partner on the welcome arrival.

‘Ohhh congratulations guys!! She is bieaauuuutiful x,” wrote commenter Abbey Holmes.
“Congratulations to both of you. She is beautiful,” said teammate Sam Powell-Pepper.
“Congratulations, Audrey is absolute perfection,” the Port cheer squad report wrote.
Rozee was ruled out of his side’s match against Carlton at Adelaide Oval with an ankle injury, having already missed two of the club’s previous three games with a muscle injury.
Last month the Port captain played in a match against the Crows while injured, which had an adverse effect on the club.
Coach Ken Hinkley apologized for playing against him during a post-game press conference.
“I apologize to our supporters for the decision that has been made,” Hinkley said.
“The decision was made collectively, but I am in charge. And I set Connor up to fail as a player because of the way he had to perform there. After the break he couldn’t get up to top speed and didn’t dare to pedal anymore.
