Shoppers in Poundland rush to buy £1 copy of Joop perfume that 'smells amazing'
SHOPPERS are flocking to Poundland to buy a fake designer perfume dupe that stands to be scanned for £1 at the till.
The discount retailer's Scentalis 'Him' perfume has caught the attention of shoppers due to its long-lasting scent and similarity to the popular Joop brand.

The Joop! Homme For Him Eau De Toilette costs at least £49 in most beauty stores, but fans are convinced you can swap it with the Pounland dupe, which is £48 cheaper.
The Poundland dupe comes in similarly sleek, chic burgundy packaging and promises to hydrate and soothe freshly shaven skin.
The victim was shared in the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group on Facebook.
One happy shopper said: “Poundland got this for me, it smells absolutely amazing, just like the brand and strong for £1.”
The post racked up dozens of likes and comments that left many shoppers raving about the perfume.
One user said: “Cheap version of Joop, he's lush.”
“I bought it because the other half smells great and he loves it,” said another.
A third user claimed: “The 'him' scent lingers on skin and clothes for over 12 hours.”
“I need this,” someone else said.
Poundland does not do online delivery so you will need to go to a store to collect this.
You may have to go to a few different stores before you find one, but keep in mind that prices may vary from branch to branch.
Poundland also sells another version: Mighty Pour Homme Eau De Toilette can be purchased in a 100ml bottle for £1 and comes in a pretty yellow packaging.
Fans of this perfume say it reminds them of Paco Rabanna.
It looks like the discount retailer is coming for all the luxury brands with its perfume dupes.
The £4 Scentalis Luna Sparkle Eau De Parfum contains an aromatic blend of fruity and floral scents and has been combined to create another dupe.
This should resemble Marc Jacobs' infamous £55 “Daisy”.
Poundland describes the fragrance as: “An excellent choice for anyone looking for a special gift or personal treat.”
“A fragrant blend with fruity notes of pomegranate and yuzu, delicate floral scents such as peony, magnolia and lotus, and musky undertones.”
Another great Daisy super is the Revolution Goddess eau de toilette, £12 for 100ml from Superdrug.
In other news, Costco has slashed the price of a 'nice' designer perfume to just £12, and shoppers can't get enough.
Plus, a perfume insider has revealed which dupes are worth buying, including the £6.99 Aldi fragrance which is £111 cheaper than M&S's original Chanel copycat.

Chanel's Coco Mademoiselle eau de perfume, £136, has been duped twice.
Once by Discover Soft Iris eau de toilette, £10 for 100ml from M&S
Dupe and then again from Scentalis Miss Conduct eau de perfume, £4 for 100ml from Poundland.
