Prabhas speaks for the first time about the violence in Salaar and says he ‘conducted workshops’

Prabhas on Salaar: Salaar is eight days away from its big release. Directed by Prashanth Neel, starring ‘rebel star’ Prabhas again as a savior. The actor plays the character of Deva, who would come to protect his brother-like friend and help him regain control of his empire. In a scoop, the actor talked about playing the aggressive role and the workshops he did for it.

Prabhas told the media that he wanted to build a relationship with the director first and that is why he decided to hold many workshops before taking up the role. The actor, who is shy in real life, claimed that he had to work on his body language to get into the skin of the character. The Pan India star said: “Salaar explores the deep emotions between the main characters. The audience has never seen me play such a character. I’m glad they can see me on screen in a new light.”

Prabhas added that he would make sure he had a conversation Prashanth before every important scene. “Me and Prashanth talked about the body language that suits my character. He also took my suggestions into account. We would have a chat before every important scene. Our workshops were fun,” he said.

Prabhas emphasized that it was important for him to understand his director. He said he had never played a character like that before and so everything about the film came as a new challenge. “More than being on set, I wanted to spend time with Prashanth personally. I think we became close within a month and haven’t looked back since. Playing my character was a challenge and it was something I had never experienced before,” he explained.

Besides Prabhas, the film also stars Shruti Haasan and Prithviraj Sukumaran in important roles. There is a lot of speculation about Yash’s special appearance in the film. However, the film’s producer Vijay Kiragandur made it clear that there is no crossover between them KGF And Salaar and that’s why Yash doesn’t have a cameo in Prabhas’ lead role.

The film’s advance bookings have already crossed $1 million in the overseas market. The film is expected to set the cash registers ringing at the Box Office this Christmas, despite a head-on collision with Dunki. What do you think of Prabhas’ take on his character in Salaar?
