Primo Foods recall popular salami product sold at Coles and Woolworths

Primo Foods is issuing a recall for salami sold at Coles, IGA and Woolworths due to the presence of an undeclared allergen.

Primo Mild Salami with 25 percent less salt, in packages of 80 grams, was recalled on Thursday due to the presence of milk.

“Consumers with a milk allergy or intolerance should not consume this product,” the NSW Government Food Authority said.

‘All consumers concerned about their health should seek medical advice.’

The products concerned can be recognized by the expiration date (best before 19/07/2024) stated on the packaging.

“Consumers must return the product to the place of purchase for a full refund,” the recall notice states.
