Prince Albert of Monaco was spotted today at the Ryder Cup golf tournament in Rome.

The prince, 65, was pictured taking part in the singles tournament on the final day of the cup, while his wife, Princess Charlene of Monaco, 45, did not attend the golf extravaganza.

The royal Monegasque was dressed in a sporty ensemble consisting of an official 2023 navy Ryder Cup cap, a matching navy polo shirt and dark reflective sunglasses.

Albert appeared to be enjoying the Roman sunshine as he smiled at onlookers and even gestured a few times to close friends.

The prince followed the action, walking from hole to hole and occasionally stopping to mingle with the other fans present.

He was no doubt there today to cheer on the European Ryder Cup team as they bid for glory after an impressive start to the competition so far.

The action started at 11:35 a.m. when reigning Masters champion Jon Rahm stepped out to tee off, with Rory McIlroy following about 40 minutes later.

The news comes as the Monegasque royal was spotted enjoying another outing without his wife last week while out with friends.

The prince partied at Munich’s Oktoberfest, joining friends Clarissa Kuefer and her husband Michael, and Munich-based lawyer Alexander Liegl (who is also Monaco’s honorary consul) at the event.

The royal dressed for the Bavarian Beer Festival as he donned a brown suede jacket and matching button-down trousers to attend the event – while Clarissa looked stunning in a mustard dirndl.

The royal beamed with his friends in the German city after arriving that evening, following a family outing with his children in Monaco earlier in the day.

His visit to Munich marks Albert’s first-ever Oktoberfest in Germany, although he was seen partying at the beer festival in 2020 when it moved to Monaco for that year.

Meanwhile, his appearance comes not long after the royal couple took their children to their first day of school earlier this month.

Princess Charlene was pictured on the palace’s Instagram account with her eight-year-old twins Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella.

Posing next to her smartly dressed husband, Charlene opted for stylish patterned trousers and a black jumper, while her children were dressed in their school uniforms.

Gabriella wore blue jeans with her school top, while her brother opted for black trousers. Both siblings wore colorful backpacks and opted for sneakers for their first day after summer vacation.

Perhaps in an effort to dispel rumors that the couple are ‘living apart’, Charlene and Albert were caught putting on a united front – as the pair attended seven outings together in nine days.
