A whopping 35 Prizefighters were held on Sky Sports, with the last boxing tournament in 2015.

But the series is being relaunched by Eddie Hearn's Matchroom, which has struck a deal to air the series on DAZN.

During the reboot, Prizefighter heads to Japan for a three-night tournament.

And the jackpot has risen to an incredible cash prize of £800,000.

There is even an £80,000 bonus for every knockout a fighter produces.

The eight-man series starts on March 31 and will be a middleweight bout.

The opening event will be decided over 10 rounds, with the final stages going to 12 rounds.

Britain's Kieran Conway and Mark Dickinson, plus Ireland's Aaron McKenna, will all be involved against opponents from Japan, France, America and China.

Matchroom CEO Frank Smith said: “This is a fantastic way to kick off our historic three-year deal in Japan.

“Prizefighter has been immensely popular with boxing fans in recent years – and they will love this new beginning to the $1 million series.

“With a knockout prize pool of $100,000 per event, the fighters will give it their all. It promises to be an exciting spectacle, filled with tough 50-50 battles, that will capture attention around the world.”
