Genius PS5 'unloaded game' trick that saves time revealed

PLAYSTATION 5 owners will have access to a hidden tool that will help them play games faster.

The PS5 is Sony's latest gaming console and the fifth variant of the original PlayStation.

One of those tools includes activity cards, which were created as part of the PS5 user interface in response to complaints from single players.

WHAT ARE ACTIVITY CARDS?

Sony's PS5 Activity Cards are a way to quickly access parts of a game without going through the entire boot-up process.

Using the tool, you can start or resume single-player activities such as side quests and trophy hunts right from your dashboard.

Activity cards also make it easy to track your game progress and view completion information (such as how long a particular quest takes).

PlayStation users can access Activity Cards by hovering over a game's icon in the Home menu.

Once you do that, press the Down button and you will see map prompts on the screen.

The prompts allow you to dive into a specific phase, match, location or moment.

According to Reddit, the tool is a big hit with PlayStation gamers who use it wire.

“Using the Activity Card to launch yourself into an unloaded game greatly speeds up the time spent waiting,” said a PS5 user in the thread.

They added that they use the handy tool to bypass the Ubisoft logo and play in under 10 seconds.

“Thank you so much, I don't know how I didn't come across that,” another responded to the comment.

“Activity cards are criminally underrated, probably the best new OS feature,” said a third Reddit user.
