PlayStation fans have 'finally pulled the trigger' as the PS5 Slim drops below £400

PLAYSTATION fans are trying to get their hands on a PS5 bargain as the console drops below £400.

The latest model has been slowly dropping in price since its launch late last year.

It comes as Sony recently cut its sales forecast for the PS5, saying it now expects to sell four million fewer consoles in the key twelve-month period to the end of March.

Sony senior vice president Naomi Matsuoka recently said the PS5 will “enter the final stages of its life cycle” as it approaches its fourth anniversary, according to Bloomberg.

And there are also rumors of a PS5 Pro on the horizon.

But for now, there are some sales on the current PS5 Slim edition.

In case you didn't know, the console is 24 percent lighter and 30 percent smaller than the original PS5 released at Christmas 2020.

Bargain hunters have discovered an “amazing” deal via eBay that brings the device to £390.46.

This is for the PlayStation 5 Slim Disc Edition 1TB.

It's being sold by ShopTo for £419.85, but with the discount code TSBSAVE7 brings the final total down even further.

“I waited for the disc version to get under £400 so finally pulled the trigger,” one customer wrote.

“Finally caved, thanks!” another added.

Some users have complained that the discount code doesn't work for them, so be sure to check.

While not quite as cheap, Amazon and Argos also have some PS5 slim deals at the moment.

At Amazon you can get the PlayStation 5 Slim Disc Edition 1TB for £409.

And at Argos it costs £419.99.
