Pump Rules’ Lala Kent is questioning Ariana Madix’s boyfriend’s ‘motive’

Lala Kent is skeptical about her Vanderpump Rules Co-star Ariana Madix to date Daniel Wai so soon after her breakup with Tom Sandoval.

In a preview clamp of season 11, Lala, 33, talks to her mother, Lisa Burninghamabout Ariana’s relationship status.

“Ariana gets a new guy, and I’m thinking, ‘What’s his motive? This is weird,” Lala says in the teaser, referring to Ariana, 38, and Daniel.

Lisa pointed out that the “blinders” belonged to her daughter [are] off” given her own past relationship problems and the fallout from Scandoval. Lala is divorced from her ex-fiancé Randall Emmett in November 2021 after alleged infidelity on Emmett’s part, which he denies, and Tom Sandoval oneand Ariana called it quits in March after having a secret affair with costar Raquel Leviss.

In the clip, Lala tearfully admits that she now questions “everyone” and their motivations. Lisa then comforts her daughter, saying, “It’s okay, you’re going to work through it.” Everything in steps. I love you.”

Ariana first teased her romance with Daniel, a New York-based personal trainer, in April when they were spotted making out at Coachella.

“Ariana is having a great time with Daniel. When things initially unfolded with Tom and Raquel, she never thought she would want to jump into a new relationship as quickly as she did,” a source exclusively told We weekly in June, noting that Daniel treats Ariana with “so much respect and compassion.”

Since they started dating, Daniel has been her number 1 cheerleader and even saw her compete regularly Dancing with the stars. (Ariana and pro partner Pasha Pashkov finished in third place at the finals earlier this month.)

“It’s amazing. He’s incredibly supportive,” Ariana shared Us in her October cover story, noting that she is exclusively dating the personal trainer. “He sacrifices his sleep and time to help me with whatever I need, and then he takes the red-eye back and goes straight to work.”

She added at the time: “He cleans up things that have been left out and [does] little things that you don’t really think about. When I get home from the show and everything is clean and there’s food in the fridge that he made, I think, ‘Wow, that’s so good.’

Daniel has apparently started filming as well Pump rules, who joins the season 11 cast on a group trip. Lala teased on her Instagram Story in September that Daniel was joining her, Ariana Scheana Shay And Katie Maloney during a trip to Northern California.

Season 11 of Vanderpump Rules premieres on Tuesday, January 30 at 8pm ET and will be available to stream on Peacock the following day.
