Spin-off 'Pump Rules' starring Kristen, Jax and Brittany: What you need to know
Kristen Dout, Jax Taylor And Brittany Cartwright are making their highly anticipated return to Bravo during the network's upcoming arrival Vanderpump Rules spin-off series, The valley.
News of the trio's return to reality TV first broke in June 2023, three years after Kristen was fired from the show and Jax and Brittany announced their departure.
In June 2020, Kristen was booted off the series Stassi Schroeder – due to past racially insensitive behavior towards former costar Believe Stowers. Jax and Brittany announced their own departure later that year. (While Kristen and Jax starred Pump rules since it premiered in 2013, Brittany joined the series two years later after she started dating Jax.)
Brittany later hinted in an interview that she and Jax were interested in coming back to Bravo We weekly amid the fallout of Scandoval.

“It definitely gives us the creeps because it was fun to have the cameras there and to have the crew there,” says Brittany, who aired several episodes of season 10 of Vanderpump Rules for Peacock with Jax, exclusively narrated Us in June 2023 after making several public appearances to voice their opinions about the former costar Tom Sandoval's cheating scandal.
“It was so fun to go through that whole lifestyle again,” she continued. “Like when we did that Watch what's happening live [With Andy Cohen]I got a little teary backstage because this was such a big part of my life for basically six years — and for Jax, about nine. So it felt really good to do those things again.”

What is the spin-off series about?
According to Deadline, the show will focus on a group of friends who leave their wild younger years behind in exchange for parenthood and adult life in California's San Fernando Valley. The first season received an eight-episode order.
Has filming started on the 'Pump Rules' spin-off?
In July 2023, Lala Kent confirmed that her former costars were filming, sharing on Amazon Live: “It's happening a lot, and I think they're starting this week. It's so weird that they have a show and they're not on our show. And from now on we're not on their show. We're all best friends and we should film a show together.
Who else is starring in the show?
Besides Kristen's boyfriend, the other newcomers include Jax's boyfriend Danny Boeko and his wife, Nia Booko, who was a former Miss USA. The duo share three children who are all under the age of 2.
In the meantime, Jesse Lally has known Jax since their modeling days. He is now married to Michelle Lally, with whom he shares a three-year-old daughter. The pair combine work and home life by working together as real estate agents.
Jason Caperna And Janet Kaperna are also known for their friendships with Kristen, Jax and Scheana. The pair were expecting a child during the filming of the movie Vanderpomp Rules spinoff.
Bachelor nation Jasmine Goode and Cartwright's college friend Zack Wickham will also appear on the show as 'friends'.
Will any 'Pump Rules' stars appear on the new show?
After offering a production update, Lala was spotted with the trio at a party in July 2023. Scheana Shay was also present at the bash, where cameras appeared to film the festivities.
Vanderpump Rules executive producer Alex Baskin confirmed in January 2024 that there would be multiple crossovers between the shows.
“We have a crossover with Jax and Tom Sandoval – there's a moment between them,” he told Deadline. “This is in the eight episodes of Vanderpump [which leads into] the premiere episode of The Valley and it's a lot of fun.
Baskin added: “It's Jax saying a few words to Tom – he's been waiting for this moment. And then he goes over the hill and we're in a new series. So that's nice.”
What has the cast shared about the show?
During an appearance on Kristen's podcast “Sex, Love, and What Else Matters” in July 2023, Jax apologized for his “presence and flakiness,” which he blamed on his schedule, adding, “[We have been] a little busy and everyone will find out sooner or later what we have going on.
Has Bravo given fans a look at the show?
In January 2024, the network released a sneak peek of the cast in the first promo for The Valley, which featured Jax driving around his neighborhood and waving to his costars. The valley will air on Bravo in spring 2024.
