Raven-Symone has revealed that her brother tragically died aged just 31 after a two-year battle with bowel cancer.

The 38-year-old actress took to her Instagram on Monday morning to share the sad news with her 2.4 million followers.

She recorded a video herself saying: ‘Last month I lost my brother.

“He’s in a better place now. He is loved and missed. The emotions that have gone in and out.”

Raven captioned the video: “Thanks for all the love yesterday. It was felt further. Hard to fully celebrate knowing I’m there and he’s not.’

It appears more will be revealed about her brother’s untimely death, as the caption concluded: “More on December 16th.”
