She added: I have hidden a lot of things in someone else's protection through this process.

I wasn’t interested – we were still together.

‘But she makes it clear to everyone that we were not together at the time. I want to make it clear that it was.’

“I spoke to Charlotte last night and said stop it, stop feeding this media attention, but it’s becoming clear that this is what she wants.”

Laura moved back home with her parents who cared for her as it left her struggling with her own mental health.

The couple was together for seven years after meeting online.

‘You know what we had great times together, we had a really cool wedding – Charlotte has been through a lot. We did indeed undergo IVF, we only had one cycle and it was not successful,” Laura said.

She said it was ‘really difficult’ going through IVF.

“I think it’s difficult for any couple going through this, whether they’re in a same-sex relationship or not. And being the other party is difficult. I don’t think that’s talked about enough. We also went through it during Covid, which was even harder because I couldn’t attend appointments with her and stuff. I felt very left out.’

She discovered Charlotte was pregnant after seeing photos online. Asked how she felt when she found out, she said: “I can’t say I’m sad, the most important feeling I have, I just hope that she, he and the family make the right decision for that child and that retain. out of the spotlight.’

“I have so many good people around me who have helped me through this whole thing. I can’t thank them enough because I may not even be here right now, but it really teaches resilience.”

She said all she wanted now was for everyone involved to do the “right thing” for the baby.

‘I just want everyone to step up now.

‘She has always loved attention, she is such a charismatic person, funny and very witty, but unfortunately she can hurt the people closest to her.’

Conor has not publicly commented on the news.

MailOnline has contacted representatives for Charlotte and Conor for comment.
