Reform UK has overtaken the Tories for the first time in a poll – with party leader Nigel Farage hails a ‘tipping point’ in British politics.

A YouGov survey for The Times shows that Reform has risen two points to 19 percent, while the Tories are unchanged at 18 percent.

The symbolic moment of the reform that anticipates the Conservatives is another crushing blow for Prime Minister Rishi Sunak with only three weeks left until the general election.

The poll showed Work with a lead of 18 points, with Sir Keir StarmerThe party is supported by 37 percent of voters.

The Liberal Democrats were four points behind the Tories on 14 percent.

Commenting on the YouGov result tonight, ahead of taking part in a ITV During the debate, Mr Farage said: ‘This is the turning point: the only wasted vote now is a Conservative vote.

“We are Labour’s challengers, we are on our way.”

Later, during his introduction to the ITV debate, Mr Farage said: ‘I’m Nigel Farage, leader of Reform UK.

“Just before we went on air, we overtook the Conservatives in the national polls. We are now the opposition to Labour.’

Earlier, a separate poll showed the Tories have sunk to their lowest ever level of support.

The latest research from Redfield & Wilton Strategies shows this Conservatives with only 18 percent support, which is the lowest vote share ever recorded by the polling station.

It is one point worse than the Tories’ lowest level of support under the former prime minister Liz Trusswho was replaced by Mr Sunak in October 2022.

In the latest poll, conducted yesterday and today, Work emerged as having a 24-point lead over the Conservatives, with Sir Keir’s party backed by 42 percent of voters.

Reform Britain was on 17 percent, just one point behind the Tories, while the Liberal Democrats enjoyed a vote share of 13 percent.

This was the highest level of support for Sir Ed Davey’s party this year.

It is another blow to the Prime Minister after last night’s abuse during a Sky News special programme, in which a snap poll showed Sir Keir coming out on top in the crucial televised election battle.
