RHOBH Recap: Kyle Richards Will Never Admit The Reason For Mauricio Split
In the last part of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills meeting, Kyle Richards makes it clear that she doesn’t share the “real reason” for her and Mauricio Umanski‘s divorce.
“It’s nobody’s business,” Kyle, 55, said Andy Cohen On Wednesday, March 13, Kyle’s statement seemed to put an end to the conversation surrounding her marriage after Andy, 55, asked a fan question that claimed she had been dancing around the details of her and Mauricio’s divorce.
‘Every marriage has problems. They come up. You’re busy and you have kids,” Kyle explained. “Some problems never went away, they were never addressed. Something happened, as I said in my interview, that made me lose my confidence.”
She continued: “I care about my family first and I tried. I really tried. So when I couldn’t do that, the kind of thing – I don’t want to say I tolerate it – it just became clearer to me, I think. I guess I couldn’t do that anymore, and I finally hit a breaking point.

Kyle also admitted that he initially thought the split would be “a temporary thing.” She added: ‘Everyone knows I didn’t want to be in this position.’
We weekly confirmed in July 2023 that Kyle and Mauricio, 53, had split after 27 years of marriage. Neither has filed for divorce and they still live under the same roof. However, Kyle relented on Wednesday RHOBH episode that “he” would be the one to move out of their shared home.
“It’s hard for us to say [divorce], I think,” she added. “I mean, if he’s looking for a place to move, I haven’t really seen any progress. We get along well, but they are friends.”
Andy also brought up the persistent infidelity rumors surrounding her marriage for years.
“Have those rumors over the years caused you to lose your trust in him?” Andy asked. Kyle replied, “Yes, and they made me feel insecure.”
She added: “[Mauricio] would say, ‘We don’t care. We know the truth.’ Of course there is always that little voice in my head, what if this is true? People would say these things all the time.
When they first discussed their split in a July 2023 joint Instagram statement, Kyle and Mauricio denied any “wrongdoing” in their marriage. However, when the RHOBH The season 13 finale, which aired in February, raised viewers’ eyebrows after a comment Kyle made during her confessional.
“Things happened that made me lose my trust and I couldn’t recover from them,” she said, revealing what caused her marriage to dissolve.
