Roxy Jacenko’s ex business partners Youssef Tleis and Kassim Alaouie say they ‘regret’ going into business with her – as PR guru issues another update on mansion giveaway

Roxy Jacenko has released a new statement after her former business partners said they regretted dealing with the PR guru.

The Singapore-based Australian publicist, 44, made headlines last month when she promised to personally refund all 7,000 people who signed up for her online business course Roxy’s Brand Bootcamp.

The promotion, which Jacenko launched together with business partners Youssef Tleis and Kassim Alaouie, included a number of prizes, including a luxury Cronulla house.

Contestants paid between $29 and $499 for a chance to win the extravagant prizes, but faced uncertainty after Jacenko called in liquidators for the trio’s ailing company, Roxy’s Bootcamp Pty Ltd.

In a joint statement published on social media earlier this week, Tleis and Alaouie expressed their regrets and apologized to those affected.

“Our main concern has always been you, the public, and especially those who participated and purchased an entry in this promotion,” they stated.

“We cross-requested orders… so we could run the promotion and award the prizes,” they continued.

‘We offer you all our sincere apologies. “We fought as hard as we could and were even willing to make personal commitments to support our fight,” the couple added.

“We would like to express our deepest regret for entering into this collaboration with Ms. Jacenko. It was an incredibly challenging and eye-opening experience. We sincerely apologize,” the couple added.

“We thank you for your understanding and continued support,” they concluded.

“We are deeply sorry for any inconvenience or inconvenience caused. We will do our best to keep you informed.’

Meanwhile, Jacenko revealed in a statement released Saturday morning that she will personally refund those with tickets.

‘In life we ​​can all make mistakes. We are only human. This ‘partnership’ was a mistake and is a life lesson. “I want to make it clear that I have never done anything other than act in the best interests of the consumers who purchased the course to attempt to deliver it,” she wrote in a statement on Instagram.

In a joint statement released on social media earlier this week, Tleis and Alaouie expressed their regrets and apologized to those affected.

“It became clear that this was not going to end well and so I had to apply to the NSW Supreme Court for an injunction, which was granted on June 5, 2024.”

Prior to this legal action, Roxy revealed that she had taken proactive steps to pay outstanding bills and ensure the integrity of the $250,000 prize fund for the eventual winner.

Jacenko highlighted a lack of control over the company’s financial accounts, including the $253,000 held therein, and expressed frustration over the lengthy legal process, which has now been extended until July 5, 2024.
